Our Guestbook (which had been taken over by Mattie Ferguson) has been quiet of late, so come on! sign it so we know who you are and let us know if there’s something we could be doing better. (We may even take heed of it)
- We now have a few videos available to view. Let us know your comments in the Guestbook, and maybe we’ll publish another one or two?
- Did you know you can get the weather for Ballinacurra on the internet?? well the Kiltha Tones have spared no expense in splashing out to present the Ballinacurra Weather link among other items of useful information on our links page
- The songs page gives a list of songs that can be heard when we’re ‘out’ and links to the lyrics for most of these songs, so you have no excuses..... have a look, learn one off and sing along with us on the next session.
- In addition to the Videos, we have a few selections of pictures, amone others, we have one from a trip to Moosburg, Germany in Jan 2007, and one from a recent trip to Lee Valley Golf and Country Club.
- So.....who the hell are The Kiltha Tones??
First and Foremost, Kiltha Tones is NOT A CHOIR ......(as such).
We’re a bunch of guys who enjoy singing (and drinking), sharing our music with others, and generally having ‘the craic’
We’re based in beautiful East Cork on the south coast of Ireland, and we’re a little bit schizo......well.....not really, but there are two sides to us. On the one hand we have an excellent Musical Director, in Ursula Uí Thuama, and we can dress up in Tuxedos and perform choral works (We’re still not a choir!!). On the other hand we enjoy relaxing in various hostelries around East Cork, and further afield playing music and singing traditional, folk, and popular songs, oh and yeah, .........drinking. We have done, and continue to fundraise for local charities
